Requirements Your Role: The Designer & Relationship Builder As a Design Consultant, you are the face of our state-of-the-art Dover showroom. You’ll work with homeowners, interior designers, and high-end builders to curate stunning ceramic, porcelain, glass, and stone solutions. What you’ll do: Design & Consult: Lead clients through the creative process to build functional, aesthetically breathtaking spaces. Own the Project: Manage multiple high-end projects with precision, ensuring every customer receives world-class follow-up. Expand the Network: Actively build your book of business by networking with North Jersey contractors, house flippers, and architects. Stay Ahead of Trends: Be the expert. Study new launches and visit local competitors to ensure Garden State Tile remains the regional leader. What You Bring to the TEAM: A "concierge" mindset—you go above and beyond for every client. A sharp eye for color, texture, and interior design trends. The hustle to cold call new trade accounts and cultivate long-term referrals. The confidence to make independent decisions and resolve client needs on the fly. Tech-savviness to master our Epicor Prophet 21 system. Schedule: Full-time, 5 days a week (9:00 am – 5:00 pm). Position includes every second Saturday (9:00 am – 5:00 pm) with a scheduled weekday off during those weeks to maintain a 5-day work week. Ready to build something beautiful?
