About The Position

Do you have experience in a sales environment? If so, we’d like you to join our team as an Inside Sales & Account Manager. About the Role: You will: Oversee all aspects of performance, sales operation, and financial performance of the Inside Sales team. Manage, recruit, hire and train a team of inside sales personnel. Set clear performance expectations and goals for teammates and conduct regular performance evaluations to assess progress and provide feedback. Work with PCM to establish revenue and margin targets. Establish individual sales goals and hold salespeople accountable for achieving goals. Analyze financial reports and implement appropriate strategies to increase sales, improve operating efficiencies, manage assets, and increase return on investment and profit sharing. Effectively manage customer contacts and relationships to provide excellent customer service, build sales volume, and constantly increase overall customer satisfaction. Attract and retain customers. Build relationships in the community through local marketing efforts, hosting special events to build a repeat and new customer base, and attending industry-related vendor functions and professional events. Conduct all business in accordance with Company policy and procedures. Maintain and insist upon a safe working environment in accordance with Company policy and procedures. Safeguard and maintain all Profit Center assets – buildings, fleet, equipment, inventory, and receivables. Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned. Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in customer service or inside sales; contractor sales preferred.
  • 1+ year of leadership experience
  • Knowledgeable of products sold in the Profit Center and effective sales techniques.
  • Possess a proper and valid driver’s license
  • Effectively use Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel) to communicate via email, to maintain weekly sales plans, call reports, and customer contact files, and to analyze customer data.
  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service, telephone/verbal communication, and generous listening skills.
  • Be able to learn and operate the computer related systems used to process orders.
  • Be able to learn to operate warehouse material-handling equipment.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
