We are looking for Inside Sales Account Managers to bring their passion for customer service, consultative sales, and problem solving to our sales teams in Merrimack, NH. Our Inside Sales Account Managers are professionals providing the exact solutions that our customers want, specifically working to uncover IT needs for State and Local Governments, K-12, and Higher Education (SLED). Your career begins with an 8-week paid training to learn the systems, best practices, pre- and post-sales support resources, and valid contract vehicles that allow Connection to make immediate impacts with public sector customers nationwide. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Organized state of mind with the ability to document activities, anticipate problems, plan schedules, and monitor performance according to priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates exceptional follow-through, personal drive, and the desire to make a difference.

Responsibilities

  • Cold call and prospect to establish new accounts which maintain established book of business.
  • Maintain and grow business with existing accounts.
  • Plan and organize daily work schedule.
  • Presents key selling points, features, and benefits while focusing on the customer's needs and expectations.
  • Maintain a track record of sales growth (even during slow times).
  • Maintain company values and demand the highest standards of conduct from self and others.
  • Listen attentively and respond effectively to customer concerns.
  • Negotiate or mediate discussions competently.
  • Demonstrate ability to close sales and overcome customer's objections.
