About The Position

As the Inside Rental Sales Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the success of our rental operations by serving as the primary point of contact for incoming rental inquiries, coordinating equipment reservations and logistics, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about delivering a great customer experience.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in customer service, sales coordination, or rental operations (construction equipment preferred).
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Comfortable with phone-based sales and customer interaction.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and rental management software (experience with Integrated Rental a plus).
  • Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or technical background a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the front-line contact for customers seeking rental equipment—by phone, email, and in person.
  • Process rental orders, create quotes, and confirm availability and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with the outside sales team to support customer needs and rental opportunities.
  • Schedule deliveries and pickups with the logistics team and ensure accuracy in dispatching.
  • Monitor rental inventory and proactively manage fleet utilization.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records in rental management systems (e.g., Integrated Rental).
  • Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally, coordinating with service or operations when needed.
  • Follow up with customers during and after the rental period to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist with billing questions, damage reports, and contract management.
  • Stay knowledgeable about current equipment offerings, attachments, and applications.
