About The Position

Syndeo has direct hire openings for motivated and dynamic Inside and Outside Sales Representatives to drive business growth by managing existing client relationships and actively pursuing new opportunities in Northwest Arkansas. Our client is a leader in the distribution of high-quality building materials to commercial and residential contractors, dedicated to fostering long-term relationships and providing innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years sales experience, preferably within the construction materials and/or building products - related industry preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM software to track sales activities and manage customer data.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, highly organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required for travel to customer locations and job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service by handling inquiries, addressing needs, and acting as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts via phone and email.
  • Process customer orders accurately, prepare quotes and sales proposals, and coordinate with internal teams (logistics, dispatch, warehouse) to ensure timely delivery and invoicing.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all company products, specifications, and applications to provide accurate and well-researched information to clients.
  • Work closely with the outside sales team to support lead qualification, manage existing accounts, and identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Identify, research, and solicit new customers and business opportunities with contractors, builders, developers, and architects.
  • Cultivate and reinforce strong, long-lasting relationships with clients through regular communication and site visits.
  • Conduct effective sales presentations and negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure mutual success and profitability.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, local building codes, new products, and competitor activities to drive strategic sales decisions.
  • Read blueprints and construction plans to assist in preparing material take-offs and tracking projects through completion.
  • Travel to vendor facilities for hands-on training as needed.
