The Inside Broker position involves identifying, soliciting, and arranging appropriate insurance coverage for clients by utilizing accessible markets. This role serves as an intermediary between the Agent and the Insurance Company for business renewal and growth, and is responsible for driving new and renewal business to ensure the brokerage team meets or exceeds production goals. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining client and agent relationships, soliciting, marketing, quoting, binding, and confirming new and existing business, and negotiating the best available terms and coverages. The Inside Broker must also ensure submissions reflect accurate data, monitor accounts for compliance with firm policies, assist brokers in meeting production goals, and maintain current knowledge of the insurance industry and necessary licenses through continuous learning.
