About The Position

Sartorius is seeking an Inside Applications Specialist based in Marlborough, MA to support our commercial team and customers within our bioprocessing solutions. As our Inside Applications Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert supporting our sales force and field specialists, driving product excellence and customer satisfaction from the lab to full-scale implementation. What You’ll Achieve with Us Become the expert. Deliver product presentations, demos, and conduct studies to support customer applications. Portfolio knowledge. Develop end to end knowledge of Sartorius offerings to support the commercial organization in North America. Design smarter solutions. Analyze customer processes and support the development of solutions for their specific process. Solve real problems. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing customers. Shape the future. Gather and analyze product performance data and customer feedback to influence product development. Know the competition. Report on competitor products and market trends to keep us ahead of the curve. Educate and inspire. Support internal and external training events that build trust and excitement. Conduct Trials. Leverage Sartorius’s portfolio to generate application data for customer evaluations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in biological engineering, biotechnology, or a related life sciences field
2+ years of industry experience with bioprocessing applications and technologies
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Confidence in interfacing with cross-functional teams and management
A customer-first mindset and a passion for problem-solving
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software

Nice To Haves

1+ year experience Process Development, pilot plant or tech-transfer experience with an emphasis in downstream bioprocessing is preferred
Familiarity with lab equipment, single-use technologies, and bioprocessing workflows
