About The Position

The Commercial Program Manager – US Surgical is responsible for managing the development, execution, and optimization of cross-functional projects within the Hologic Surgical commercial business. This role works closely with Commercial leadership, IT, and process owners to ensure alignment between strategic objectives and operational applications, supporting Hologic’s operational capabilities and change management initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and tools (e.g., PMO frameworks, playbooks, project lifecycle).
  • Working knowledge of commercial operations in a healthcare or medical device environment.
  • Knowledge of process development and optimization techniques (e.g., workflow mapping, continuous improvement).
  • Familiarity with enterprise business systems, ideally including: Salesforce CPQ Oracle ERP Or comparable CRM/ERP/CPQ platforms
  • Understanding of change management principles and practices.
  • Awareness of cross-functional dependencies among Commercial, R&D, IT, and Service organizations.
  • Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation.
  • Proficiency in project planning, execution, monitoring, and risk/issue management.
  • Ability to lead new product launch activities across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Strong ability to document, analyze, and improve business processes and team workflows.
  • Capability to connect strategic objectives to operational execution and process optimization.
  • Skilled in conducting project post-mortem evaluations and translating findings into actionable improvements.
  • Hands-on experience working with Salesforce CPQ, Oracle ERP, or similar enterprise systems.
  • Ability to support and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing activities.
  • Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills tailored to varied stakeholders (Commercial leadership, IT, process owners, and project teams).
  • Ability to facilitate cross-functional meetings and coordinate activities across multiple teams.
  • Skilled in presenting project status, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
  • Ability to support change initiatives and drive adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Comfort in influencing without direct authority across cross-functional teams.
  • Capability to mentor or support the development of project team members (where applicable).
  • Works effectively with Commercial, IT, R&D, and Service teams, building strong cross-functional relationships.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior involvement in new product launch processes or strategic division-level projects is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting the development or coaching of project team members is a plus.
  • PMP certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain within the first year of employment).
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in business, project management, healthcare administration, or a related field is desirable (if you want, this can be explicitly added).

Responsibilities

  • Support project intake management and activation processes for the Commercial PMO team.
  • Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of the PMO playbook for the Surgical business, including conducting project post-mortem evaluations.
  • Manage and coordinate cross-functional activities for new product launch processes, in partnership with the R&D PMO team.
  • Lead the execution of key strategic division projects and assist with ongoing system enhancements.
  • Ensure timely execution, delivery, and support for user acceptance and regression testing for assigned cross-functional projects.
  • Document, analyze, and recommend improvements for internal team workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Foster collaboration between Commercial and Service priorities within IT.
