Apply today to join our team. This role is exempt classification, full time and can prepare employees for Outside Sales or other internal roles if qualified. Essential Responsibilities include Business Development: setting up appointments with prospective clients to learn their needs and concerns while working with the outside sales team to develop relationships and create awareness of company offerings. You will maintain and develop relationships with composite cable dealers and wholesalers, creating a plan of regular touch points in line with customer buying habits and needs. Understanding the marketplace to adjust pricing at both the dealer and wholesale level to support growth and consistency in the customer base is crucial. You will prospect new customers and develop a compelling strategy to win new business, follow up with customers on quotations to help obtain orders, discuss objections that may prevent the placement of orders, and offer alternate options if needed. Proactively following up with prospective new customers to generate sales is also a key responsibility. Meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as defined by Management each year is expected. You will create and present quotations to customers emphasizing value-add features and explaining the benefits of working with CableMaster. Managing and performing data entry into the ERP system for orders in line with company policies is part of the role. You will work cross-functionally with purchasing and accounting teams, relaying the voice of the customer as it relates to needs in the marketplace to support inventory purchases and management. Assisting with assigning customers to the inside sales team to support customer needs as appropriate, with an understanding that customer needs vary by customer, is also part of your duties. Possessing thorough knowledge of all products, processes, and policies to support and exceed customer requirements is essential. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
