About The Position

Optum Insight aims to improve the flow of health data and information to create a more connected system, reducing friction and driving alignment between care providers, payers, and consumers. The company leverages deep industry expertise and innovative technology to help organizations reduce costs while improving risk management, quality, and revenue growth. This specific role involves operating a high-volume production inserter, which is crucial for daily output, processing approximately 150,000 physically inserted pages per day. The position is highly specialized, requiring constant attention, precision, and manual intervention, and cannot be automated or easily absorbed by other team members without impacting efficiency, quality, or compliance. With a projected 25% increase in volume due to the upcoming addition of VPAY, this role is essential to manage the increased workload, as redistribution among existing staff or reliance on AI/automation is not feasible.

Requirements

High School Diploma / GED
Must be 18 years of age OR older
Ability to work full-time Monday - Friday
Flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 10pm – 6am OR 6am – 2pm

Nice To Haves

Experience handling mechanical equipment
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Responsibilities

Ensure all documents are inserted accurately and in compliance with strict HIPAA guidelines, handling Protected Health Information (PHI)
Properly manage diverted mail to prevent errors
Perform secondary verification to confirm accuracy
Inspect for completeness and correctness throughout the process
Confirm that each document is inserted into the correct envelope before sealing
