About The Position
The Mail Inserting Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining mail-inserting machines to ensure the accurate and timely processing of mail pieces. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to strict deadlines, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues efficiently.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work on feet and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with inserting or mail production machinery preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate inserting equipment according to production specifications.
- Load, align, and monitor materials to ensure proper processing.
- Perform machine setup and minor maintenance as needed.
- Check for accuracy and quality during production runs.
- Maintain work area organization and follow safety protocols.
- Employees may be required to perform duties outside their primary responsibilities or assigned department, as reasonably requested by management.
Benefits
- Shift Differential: 2nd Shift, +$1. hour, 3rd Shift, +$2. Hour (Based on hours worked)
