About The Position

Pay rate for this position is $25.05 Job Responsibilities 1. Perform daily breeder flock service activities associated with handling select, healthy breeder hens and toms, and department equipment as outlined and described in department operating manuals 2. Help coworkers in the areas of cost control, productivity, and safety by providing personal involvement in insemination area management, operating decisions and problem solving 3. Work Monday - Friday with some weekends Minimum Qualifications Valid driver’s license/ Basic math skills 6th grade level, addition and subtraction Cannot own or raise any type of fowl Able to meet Breeder sanitation/isolation requirements Ability to understand company programs & policies Able to communicate with all Team members No performance work actions in the last 18 months No attendance work actions in the last 12 months PHYSICAL: Able to wear eye & respiratory equipment on a continuous basis in compliance of hygiene policies Able to walk on uneven surfaces Repeatedly grasp & pinch with both hands Able to work in a smoke free environment Able to flex and extend wrist occasionally Able to work in all weather conditions Able to twist, stoop, bend, squat, lift, carry and reach while handling live turkeys below your shoulders to frequently above shoulder height, this could be up to 50 pounds Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Two years’ experience working with livestock Possess a valid driver's license Response Process To be considered for this position you must have completed six (6) months in your present position. Team Members with less than six (6) months may be considered for promotion or transfer based on the needs of the company. Requirements
