FTE: 0.01, Shift: variable, Schedule: variable Position Summary The Pharmacy Technician is an exciting staff-level opportunity at MultiCare, assisting in manipulative and non-discretionary functions of the practice of pharmacy. In this role, you will apply your organizational skills and attention to detail for successful daily work operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by the Washington State Department of Health
- If required to drive a MHS vehicle, a driver’s license is required.
Nice To Haves
- Successful completion of National Pharmacy Technician Certification Program (preferred)
Responsibilities
- You will assist in ordering of supplies from wholesaler and direct accounts, and verifies items received against invoices
- You will store items received and assist in maintaining stock levels, to include dating and initialing invoices and/or packing slips upon receipt
- You will enter customer’s medication and billing information into computer system
- You will answer and screen telephone calls and forwards as needed
- You will perform extemporaneous compounding under pharmacist supervision

- However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
