About The Position

This is a full-time Inpatient Registered Nurse position in the Operating Room at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. The work schedule is 100% FTE, from 9:00am-7:00pm. The role offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package. Additional compensation components may include evening, night, and weekend shift differential, overtime, and on-call pay. There is also eligibility for a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
  • Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
  • Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
  • Bi-annual CPR certification.
  • For 911 Call Center Triage Only: 2 years experience in an Emergency Room setting or Psychiatric Nursing setting.

Nice To Haves

  • For 911 Call Center Triage Only: Community nursing experience.
  • Specialty certification in area of concentration.
  • For 9th Floor Only: ACLS certification within two years of hire.
