Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program. Required
Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required
Experience assisting in robotic-assisted cardiac and thoracic surgeries. Required
1-2 years of experience in cardiovascular operating room or specialized cardiothoracic surgical environments. Preferred
Prior completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program with related experience or successful completion of Scrub RN competency (Internal Northern Illinois Program). Required
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois. Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Required
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Preferred
Specialty certification in area of concentration. Preferred

Nice To Haves

1-2 years of experience in cardiovascular operating room or specialized cardiothoracic surgical environments.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
