The Coordinator provides administrative support for the inpatient physician specialties area. The Coordinator supports provider recruitment and onboarding activities. Responsibilities Provides administrative support to the inpatient physician specialties. Develops and implements daily staffing schedules for provider coverage of the Emergency Department and Intensivists. Orients, assigns and schedules new inpatient specialty providers and medical students. Processes and monitors inpatient providers' timekeeping and payroll. Serves as a liaison between providers and patients to fulfill patient requested paperwork. Monitors and adjusts staffing and workload as appropriate for assigned support staff. Assists in performance appraisal process for assigned staff. Provides support with recruitment and onboarding for providers within the inpatient specialties. Serves as a primary contact for new provider candidates. Organizes site visits to include travel arrangements, scheduling of appointments, itinerary and distribution of credentialing materials. Processes documents for reimbursements. Collaborates with Medical Staff Services to coordinate distribution and completion of contracts and credentialing documents for new providers. Qualifications Education: Required: High School or GED Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business or related field Experience: Required: 3 years of clerical experience in a healthcare setting with one (1) year of supervisory or office management experience Preferred: Previous experience in hospital health system working with providers
