Position Summary: The Physician Assistant provides medical care including medical screening examinations and evaluations in the Emergency Department under the direction of the ER Medical Director. Performs accurate initial history and physical exam. Counsels/educates patients, promotes/delivers quality patient care in emergency department setting. Position will be for 1099 employment. Completion of Madera Community Hospital Medical Staff Credentialing Application Process for Allied Health Medical Staff Privileges prior to first day of work and every two years thereafter. The Granting of privileges includes approval from the Medical Staff and concurrent Board of Trustees approval per the Bylaws, Rules and Regulations of each.
