About The Position

Saint Luke's Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to join our dedicated pharmacy team. Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, this role is crucial to ensuring the highest levels of patient safety and care. The successful candidate will perform all accountabilities associated with compounding, preparing, distributing, and charging of medications within our inpatient facility. Shift Details: Full-Time Days 6:00AM - 2:30PM Weekend and holiday Requirements Responsibilities Medication Management: Pick, fill, and deliver medication orders and manage automated dispensing cabinet (Omnicell) stock to appropriate locations. Compounding and Preparation: Accurately prepack drugs and compound a variety of medications, including sterile products, chemotherapy, and special dosage forms (topicals, oral liquids). Inventory Control: Assist with maintaining stock supplies within the pharmacy department to ensure optimal inventory levels. Customer Service: Professionally handle incoming calls and front window requests, assisting hospital staff with questions and requests related to medications and pharmacy services. Quality Assurance: Participate in all required department and technician meetings to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Qualifications Pharmacy Technician License - MO Certification: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) Experience: Previous pharmacy technician experience is preferred but not required. Requirements

  • Pharmacy Technician License - MO
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
