Inpatient Pharmacy Supervisor
About The Position
As the Inpatient Pharmacy Supervisor, you oversee the day-to-day operations of the inpatient pharmacy, ensuring safe and efficient medication distribution to patients. You will manage work schedules, assign tasks and provide training and developmental opportunities to support your staff. The above summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role. It should not be considered exhaustive. SCHEDULE This is a dual‑function role in which the pharmacist will both deliver remote order verification and supervise the team members to ensure efficient, compliant operations. Monday- Friday days, and covers varied schedules depending on department needs Weekend/holiday/on call rotation as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree
- 3 years hospital pharmacy experience
- Must be a Registered Pharmacist, licensed in good standing in the state of practice or license eligible
Nice To Haves
- Advanced degree (Masters in business or health care related field)
- BLS
- Board Certification in area of pharmacy practice (i.e. BCPS)
