About The Position
Provides nursing assistance to doctors and nurses in the care and treatment of patients across the life span, including medical, surgical, pediatric, psychiatric, and obstetrical patients. Provides a broad range of duties in an inpatient setting including but not limited to, administrative and clinical functions within their scope of practice, training, and applicable rules and regulations on an as-needed basis.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- None required.
- An individual should know Database software; Human Resource systems; Internet software; Order processing systems and Payroll systems.
- The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
- Knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and medical terminology.
- Must meet and maintain pre-employment and periodic background investigation and adjudication for childcare.
- Educated on and compliant with HIPAA regulations; maintains strict confidentiality of client information.
Nice To Haves
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred but not required; can be obtained during the orientation period.
