NP/PA Full-time position: 13 hr shifts day/night/weekends/holidays per unit discretion. Exciting opportunity for motivated APP to work with a dynamic inpatient team in the management of Neurology patients. Must demonstrate a high level of clinical competence in the care of Neurology patients. Will be involved in inpatient components of care. You will work collaboratively with Neurology attendings and resident teams. Applicant must be highly motivated, flexible and possess excellent clinical skills, critical thinking, and have strong communication skills. Must be NYS NP/PA licensed. MS degree required. Ideally 2 years’ experience in an advanced practice role, preferably with a neurology patient care setting. Requirements

• Must demonstrate a high level of clinical competence in the care of Neurology patients.
• Applicant must be highly motivated, flexible and possess excellent clinical skills, critical thinking, and have strong communication skills.
• Must be NYS NP/PA licensed.
• MS degree required.
• NPs and PAs will demonstrate clinical competence, superior verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness and customer relation skills, computer competence and must have an active desire to learn.
• Nurse Practitioner Require a Master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner, an active New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing, an active New York State Nurse Practitioner licensure in good standing and current national certification as an Nurse Practitioner.
• Physician Assistant Required completion of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program, an active New York State Physician Assistant licensure in good standing and current national certification as a Physician Assistant by NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants)

Nice To Haves

• Ideally 2 years’ experience in an advanced practice role, preferably with a neurology patient care setting.

Responsibilities

• Will be involved in inpatient components of care.
• You will work collaboratively with Neurology attendings and resident teams.
• The APP will participate in the education of learners (students and new employees), using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing and skill training.
