About The Position

Innovative Solutions Opening Coordinator The Opportunity: To achieve an organization’s mission, leaders need strong team members who can assist in the development of technical documents for our clients to help them achieve their mission. Whether assisting in the creation of new client application templates, new processes, or communicating requirements, our clients need someone who can help develop innovative solutions and interact with stakeholders to maximize impact. That is why we need you, an experienced Innovative Solutions Opening (ISO) Coordinator who can provide strategic support and our client’s leadership on issues relating to new technical proposals. As part of our team, you'll serve as a strategic technical advisor to the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), helping conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government-funded research and development programs to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone. You will work with world-class scientists and engineers to support the development of high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems. You’ll leverage technical expertise to provide strategic assessments of new technologies in support to senior ARPA-H decision makers. You’ll maintain responsibility for producing and presenting findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs, assisting with the management of current programs, and facilitating commercialization of successfully developed technologies. You'll serve as an ISO Coordinator as part of an exciting team to provide high-level technical support to leaders in a demanding, fast-paced environment. Above all, you have a deep commitment to work collaboratively to follow-up on tasks, create technical documents, and clearly communicate to advance client priorities. You will help clients to communicate requirements, standardize processes, and determine viable solutions. You will provide support to senior leaders, serve as a point of contact for the office and other agency offices, manage incoming requirements, clearly communicate tasks, and track metrics. You will be readily available to shift your focus to fulfill emerging requests and special projects. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in contracting or procurement
  • Experience conducting independent research, analyzing data, and writing reports for scientific and public audiences
  • Experience using data management and analytics platforms
  • Knowledge about acquisition awards such as FAR-based contracts, Cooperative Agreements, and Other Transactions (OTs)
  • Knowledge of acquisition documentation requirements
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic and a passion for healthcare and scientific discovery
  • Ability to track metrics effectively and manage multiple parallel projects and tasks simultaneously

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience in contracting or procurement in a government or research environment
  • 1+ years of experience supporting Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) or related Federal ARPA agencies such as IARPA, ARPA-E, or HSARPA
  • Experience engaging a broad range of stakeholders
  • Ability to be well organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
