In this role you’ll make an impact by: Leading the commercial direction of new product development initiatives, partnering with R&D to shape concepts, value propositions, and business cases from early exploration through commercialization. Translating market and customer insights into clear product requirements, considering commercial viability, market size and trends, new technology, competitive dynamics, and financial potential. Conducting customer validation, engaging directly with customers to test concepts, assessing willingness‑to‑pay, and de‑risking assumptions throughout concept development. Driving new product launches, including development and execution of go-to-market strategy. Traveling to customer sites and leading innovation discussions

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, innovation, NPD, or commercial strategy within biotech, bioenergy, industrial solutions, or adjacent sectors.
  • Proven track record of successfully bringing new products to market, from early concept through launch.
  • Strong capability in market‑backed innovation, including customer insight gathering, value proposition development, and business case creation.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness leading cross‑functional teams in structured product development environments (e.g., stage‑gate or similar frameworks).
  • Excellent customer engagement, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
