About The Position

The Innovation PMO Leader will develop successful and on-time delivery of Innovation which is critical to delivering Sazerac's growth plans. This role will be responsible for project-related services to support a business unit or division within the organization including, but not limited to, portfolio management, governance, operational project support, risk management, and human resources utilization. They will develop and equip the organization with methodologies, standards and tools to enable project managers to better deliver projects and increase the capability of the organization through training, good practices and a central point of contact for project managers. They will be working across all functions (influencing, training, upskilling, busting barriers, etc.) and communicating with key stakeholders/leadership on overall health of projects/programs/portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10 years relevant experience (minimum) with at least 8 years of implementation or project management experience.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Advanced financial analysis skills
  • Experience influencing key stakeholders effectively
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Ability to drive results in a complex, high-growth company
  • Experience in business process methodology, governance, frameworks, or project management.
  • Proven track record of developing strategic partnerships with various client groups, including internal and external groups.
  • Proven team building capabilities/strong cross-functional teammate, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects at one time.

  • Certification/qualification in project management
  • Experience with data visualization software (tableau, microstrategies, power bi) and advanced analytical tools like alteryx

Responsibilities

  • Create, Implement and Evaluate cost saving projects that will drive costs out of the business without resulting in a reduction in quality.
  • Ongoing effort to improve products, services, or processes. These efforts can seek "incremental" improvement over time or "breakthrough" improvement all at once. All are evaluated in the light of their efficiency, effectiveness and flexibility.
  • Exceeding expectations across all customer segments, including external and internal customers. Needs in all areas are anticipated and requests and complaints are addressed as much as possible to the satisfaction of all customers. Creating raving fans of process and innovation.
  • PDS system design and implementation to include active PDS evaluation for each team member with regular feedback sessions between team member and manager, overall grid rating for each team member, 360 degree feedback program. Identify the #1 Skill to be developed by each team member.
