The Innovation Portfolio Associate Manager supports the US Innovation team through analytics, reporting, and portfolio operations. This role ensures data integrity across innovation systems, translates insights into recommendations, and owns key operating processes that enable effective governance, planning, and decision‑making. This role plays a critical role in shaping innovation investment decisions by translating portfolio insights into clear recommendations for senior leadership. The role reports to the Innovation Portfolio Lead. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, innovation, finance, or strategy within consumer goods, OTC, or health/wellness industries.
  • Experience with P&L or budget management, project management, and/or business development.
  • Ability to lead within a matrix organization across multiple functions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex inputs into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Strong communicator and connector, able to work effectively across levels and functions.
  • Strong to advanced Excel skills
  • Experience working with PowerBI (Intermediate)

  • Experience in any / multiple of: CPG sales, advertising/media planning, profit and loss analysis, market data analysis (e.g., Nielsen / Circana).
  • Experience supporting innovation or portfolio management workstreams.
  • Action‑oriented and accountable with a proactive, high‑energy approach.

  • Strong team player with demonstrated effectiveness in matrix environments.

Responsibilities

  • Own integrity, completeness, and timeliness of US innovation data to enable a single source of truth.
  • Incorporate governance decisions, forecast updates, and actuals into source files and reporting tools.
  • Support development of dashboards and visualizations (e.g., Power BI) to monitor pipeline health and sufficiency.
  • Run analyses on in‑year performance, forecasting, and long‑range planning for Innovation leadership, USLT, and HET.
  • Conduct deep‑dive analyses on portfolio pain points to identify root causes and propose solutions.
  • Partner with Brand and Sales to evaluate launch performance and drivers of over/under‑delivery.
  • Support execution of innovation systems, processes, and forums (e.g., Innovation Connects, iMBR).
  • Own the end‑to‑end operating rhythm for iMBR, including framing topics, synthesizing insights, and ensuring governance decisions are clearly captured and executed.
  • Support Innovation Leadership Team meeting planning and follow‑ups.
  • Own the US Innovation multi‑brand budget, POs, and related activities to ensure responsible spend.
