About The Position

We’re hiring a Marketing Innovation Manager to drive new product development and lead breakthrough innovation across our portfolio. This role is central to our growth strategy—managing everything from concept to shelf, launching new products, improving existing ones, and identifying whitespace opportunities in the dynamic plant-based category. You’ll lead cross-functional teams across R&D, Supply Chain, Packaging, Finance, and Sales, and play a key role in shaping Flora’s 3-year innovation pipeline. From crafting compelling product propositions to developing pricing strategies and business cases, you’ll be a driving force behind our next generation of products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Ability to live within the "gray" and think outside of the box with a start-up mentality
  • Min of 3+ years of experience in FOOD white space Innovation
  • Must have owned the stage gate process
  • Passion for food and deep knowledge of food trends.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and acumen in building business cases and P&Ls.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Nielsen, Circana (formerly IRI), or SPINS is required.
  • Willingness to travel and immerse yourself in the food world.

Responsibilities

  • Own innovation projects end-to-end: from ideation to launch, ensuring on-time, in-full delivery.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to bring products to life—collaborating across R&D, Packaging, Sales, and more.
  • Shape the future of food by identifying emerging trends, attending expos, and translating insights into innovation.
  • Drive packaging development aligned with Flora’s sustainability goals.
  • Develop business cases and P&Ls, working closely with Finance and Sales to ensure commercial viability.
  • Collaborate with R&D to organize tastings and recipe development, ensuring products delight consumers.
  • Support strategic planning for the innovation pipeline alongside senior leaders.
  • Travel to food conferences, production runs, and sales meetings to stay close to the action.
