About The Position

Injection Packer Job Title: Injection Packer Division/Department Reports to: Injection Supervisor FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Work Comp Code: 2836 Employee Department: 300 Employee Status: Full-Time Effective Date: 11/4/24 Labor Type: Direct EEO Code: Labor and Helpers Summary: Responsible for quality control and packing of injection molding parts. Will operator anywhere from 1 to 12 machines at any given time.

Requirements

Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired though a high school diploma or equivalent.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to adapt and learn how to inspect and pack all parts.
Self-motivation.
Employee must be able to lift, carry push and pull up to 60 pounds.
Employee must have the ability to complete the following repetitive tasks. Percent involved in each applicable activity is noted.

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.
Requires the use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, hearing protection, and hardhats.

Shifts available dependent on current openings based on production needs : 1st shift M-F 6:00am-2:00pm OR Day shift M-F 6:00am-6:00pm 2nd shift M-F 2:00pm-10:00pm shift with 10% shift premium 3rd shift Su-Th 10:00pm-6:00am OR Night shift Su-Th 6:00pm-6:00am with 15% premium

Responsibilities

Check quality before packing parts.
Pack parts according to work instructions for that machine.
Complete quality paperwork.
Meet required efficiencies.
Perform continuous quality inspections.
Teamwork is essential.
Other duties as assigned.
Maintain clean and safe working environment.
Follow all safety and OSHA guidelines.

Benefits

40 hours of non-paid time off starts at time of hire and requires supervisor approval to use.
PTO accrual starts at time of hire; 1 hour earned for every 40 hours worked. PTO can be used for any reason after 90 days of employment.
Vacation accrual starts once eligibility time has been met and employees can earn up to 80 hours per year; requires supervisor approval to use. Increase in vacation time earned is based on years of service schedule.
