Work closely with Quality and Production to address issues and perform follow up training 2. Help drive employee retention through employee engagement and foster a culture of development 3. Evaluate training platforms and methods to drive improvement 4. Capture & record training and process improvements. Develop best practice templates, training content and maintain repository of process improvement events 5. Help develop and implement RCCA’s and ensure any RCCA solutions are sustained long term 6. Develop and assist in ongoing operator/technical training related to quality 7. Assist molding manager in daily activities 8. Oversee special projects in the Molding Department 9. Convey production run status with the Department Manager 10. Mentor Group Leaders/Assistant Group Leaders on Problem Solving processes 11. Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental and department of health requirements 12. Identify improvement opportunities and use a data driven approach to quantify the improvement, develop timelines, and develop budgets 13. Communicate with Team Members in all roles across the company to learn business requirements and identify opportunities for improvement 14. Responsible for ensuring all standards of ISO and SQF are met QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Act as a change agent and constantly challenge the status quo; partner with teams to evaluate existing processes and implement solutions to ensure safety, improve quality, reduce cost, and sustain best practices across each value-stream and teams 2. Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously 3. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and direct employees 4. Able to work different hours based on work load 5. Well-organized project management skills 6. Leadership Style: Self-starter must be able to work with little direction and with high level of self-motivation. Must be able to work on own initiative and work well in a group 7. Proficiency in and the ability to model and implement the following concepts: empowerment and teamwork; 5S; quality improvement tools; set-up time reduction, process flow improvement 8. Strong verbal and written communication skills a must 9. Foster a culture that focuses on collaboration, improvement, and efficiencies 10. Prior experience in analyzing production and financial reports 11.
