About The Position

As an Injection Molding Production Technician, you’ll keep our molding cells running smoothly, turn raw materials into consistent, high‑quality parts, and help the team hit daily goals without compromising safety or quality. A Day in the Life You arrive to review the production schedule and part specifications. You prepare tooling and materials, set machine parameters to match the job, and start the first cycles while monitoring key indicators. Throughout the shift you perform routine checks, adjust settings to hold tolerance, and document your results. When a hiccup appears, you dive into troubleshooting to minimize downtime. You close the day by updating production records, cleaning your area, and collaborating with teammates on ideas to run better tomorrow.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machine operation is a plus.
• Prior machine operator experience, ideally within plastics manufacturing.
• Proficiency with injection molding and a strong mechanical mindset.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.
• Sharp attention to detail with a quality‑first approach.
• Comfort working both independently and with a team.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plastic molding equipment in line with specifications and production plans.
• Continuously monitor machine performance and part quality; fine‑tune parameters as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to reduce unplanned stops.
• Inspect parts using measurement gauges to verify compliance with drawings and standards.
• Maintain accurate, timely production records and report variances.
• Partner with the team to identify improvements in process, safety, and throughput.
• Keep work areas organized and follow all safety procedures.
