NEW STARTING RATE: $17-19/Hour We are currently seeking a Press Operator to support our manufacturing operations in our facility at Warren, MI. This role is critical to ensuring that high-quality parts are produced according to customer specifications and internal standards. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Willingness to adhere to all safety and quality procedures
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Operate press equipment safely and efficiently
- Review and interpret quality alerts and part specifications before starting a job
- Perform first-piece inspections and compare against approved first articles
- Accurately complete production logs, job startup checklists, and operator logs
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations in accordance with environmental and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shift transitions
- Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding any quality issues
