This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner as well as running the computer to route ingredients while maintaining a safe a work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Department: Must be able to work in and be exposed to outside temperatures and environment. May lift in excess of 80 lbs., heavy equipment, and climb stairs on a routine basis. Must be able to file both alphabetically and numerically, must be able to operate the live haul scales and keep feed cleaned up from on and around the scale area. This position requires communicating in a professional manner both orally and in writing. Must maintain a clean work area and break area. Must be able to compute grower weights and head count. Must be able and willing to train and operate a Rail Mover Operator. Position Specific: Applicants will be considered for the Loader/Unloader opening on the 1st Shift at the Feedmill, As railcars arrive at the mill the loader/unloader is responsible for communicating with the mill manager and moving railcars, forklift and heavy equipment into appropriate positions for unloading. This position must be able to communicate with drivers and train conductors to determine the type of commodities being carried. Must be able to complete inventory tickets, receiving tickets and daily receiving logs, must also file samples of commodities and feed produced. The Loader/Unloader must then push buttons on a panel to mechanically send the grain to the correct storage bin. The TM in this position must obtain samples of incoming grain and utilize tools made available to test samples to determine moisture levels. This information must be documented and tracked on the incoming receiving tickets. As needed the Loader/Unloader must dislodge grain from the sides of the bins by hitting the side of the bin with a large sledge hammer. Team member must be willing to obtain a Forklift license and complete other tasks as assigned by supervisor. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must have 6 months continuous work experience with a single employer within the last 12 months. Rehire Consideration: Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire. 180 days (6 months) waiting period. Must have 12 months of continuous work history with a single employer to be considered.
