Provide thoughtful and insightful coordination to our administrative scheduling function in a high-volume patient setting. Here you'll partner with the Columbia physician practice, providing strategic scheduling to ensure an optimal patient experience. In this role, you will be integral to the successful operations of the center. This is a day shift position working Monday - Friday, with as-needed extension beyond regular shift hours. This position requires on-site presence 5 days/week. Location is our Columbia campus in Upper Manhattan/Washington Heights, 168 Fort Washington Ave, New York, NY 10032

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of work experience.
  • Competent with Electronic office procedures, including billing reschedule etc.
  • Familiarity with software applications and basic Internet procedures; basic computer literacy, including web-based applications.
  • Ability to multitask in a cross-functional team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree.
  • Previous outpatient scheduling experience.
  • Epic experience.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Adaptive to evolving departmental needs.
