About The Position

Peraton is hiring an Infrastructure Services Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Fort Meade, Maryland. As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location. As an Infrastructure Services Systems Engineer, you will provide engineering and administrative support for Desktop and Enclave Services developmental and production environments for multiple operating systems but primarily Windows. You will also: Provide support to end user systems, as well as work with network, storage and server personnel to define new or modified solutions to complex problems. Prepare for and implement STE/STN, infrastructure management activities, review compliance records, and respond to Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA’s). Communicate with program personnel, government and customers to work complex projects as a contributor and as part of an integrated product team. Maintain and troubleshoot systems to address issues to ensure optimal performance. Create and maintain documentation for system design, implementation and maintenance procedures with the organization’s Confluence space. #AJCM

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other related discipline plus at least 15 years of systems engineering experience. A master’s degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 19 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
  • Experience providing engineering support within Windows, Linux, and Cloud environment
  • Designing, architecting, and building strategic infrastructure plans.
  • Formulating life cycle replacement plan.
  • RE-architecting enclaves, ensuring systems are current and up to date.
  • Providing strategic infrastructure planning and scheduling.
  • Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
