About The Position

Infrastructure Project Manager - Financial Firm Location: New York & New Jersey (Onsite/Hybrid) Industry: Financial Services / Large Enterprise Technology Role Overview We are seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex technology initiatives across our New York and New Jersey offices. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with deep experience in infrastructure projects, including office builds, network installations, and technology migrations. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with internal departments and external vendors to ensure timely and effective delivery of infrastructure solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in infrastructure project management within financial services or large enterprise environments.
  • Strong technical background in IT infrastructure, including AV systems and cabling.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and vendor relationships.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Agile/Waterfall).
  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience with regulatory and compliance requirements in financial institutions.
  • Ability to work onsite across NY and NJ locations as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead infrastructure projects involving office builds, AV setups, cabling, network installations, and technology migrations.
  • Coordinate and document project calls, meetings, and stakeholder communications.
  • Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Network, Desktop, Facilities, and other internal teams to drive execution.
  • Manage resource planning and allocation across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Engage with business units to assess infrastructure needs and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Create and maintain internal documentation, including project plans, status reports, and technical guides.
