About The Position

Wyyerd is seeking a hands-on Infrastructure Manager to lead and actively participate in Outside Plant (OSP) fiber construction and splicing for our FTTH GPON network. This role is responsible for installing conduit, pulling and splicing fiber, and performing a wide range of outside plant construction activities. In addition, the Infrastructure Manager will support ongoing plant maintenance, network outage, troubleshooting, and repair to ensure the reliability and performance of the network.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in OSP fiber construction and splicing
• Strong understanding of fiber network construction processes
• Ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple projects at once
• Comfortable working in field environments and lifting up to 40 lbs
• Positive attitude and willingness to lead by example

Nice To Haves

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and work alongside OSP technicians and splicers
• Perform and oversee conduit installation, fiber pulling, and fiber splicing
• Support FTTH GPON plant construction and customer service activation
• Assist with plant maintenance, repairs, and service restoration
• Manage daily field operations and workload priorities
• Assisting with other OSP and network-related activities as needed, e.g. placement of drop cables
• Other duties as required
