About The Position

The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and compliance of community infrastructure within a gated Property Owners Association (POA). This role ensures the effective management of stormwater drainage systems, roadways, and structural components, while also reviewing new construction to confirm adherence to established drainage policies and community standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure or public works
  • Strong knowledge of stormwater drainage systems and roadway maintenance
  • Experience with construction oversight and road repaving projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experienced infrastructure or facilities leader with a strong understanding of roadway, drainage, and structural system maintenance in residential or community environments.
  • Detail-oriented and compliance-focused, with the ability to review construction plans, monitor repairs, and ensure adherence to POA standards, regulations, and drainage policies.
  • Proactive problem solver and collaborative communicator who can coordinate vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to protect community assets and support long-term infrastructure performance.

Nice To Haves

  • HOA/POA or residential community experience
  • Familiarity with municipal codes and drainage regulations
  • Experience with GIS mapping systems and interpreting plat maps
  • Understanding of HOA governing documents, covenants, and architectural guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain stormwater drainage systems, including inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Plan and oversee road repaving projects and concrete repairs (slabs, curbs, etc.)
  • Conduct inspections of new construction to ensure compliance with drainage and infrastructure requirements
  • Coordinate and manage vendors, contractors, and service providers
  • Develop and manage infrastructure budgets, including forecasting and cost control
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for homeowners regarding infrastructure concerns
  • Professionally resolve homeowner complaints and conflicts in a calm, solution-oriented manner
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and project tracking using Microsoft Office
  • Ensure all work complies with POA standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulations
