About The Position

Few IT roles give you this much ownership — and this much purpose. Salem Clinic is in the middle of a major technology evolution, and we need the right leader to run the infrastructure that makes it possible. You'll own the full stack, drive our security and cloud strategy, and lead a skilled team keeping mission-critical systems running for 60+ providers and the 600 employees who support them. Requirements

  • Strong experience managing IT infrastructure in a complex environment
  • Expertise in networks, systems, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure/AWS), and virtualization (VMware)
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA)
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and projects
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with IT frameworks (e.g., ITIL, Agile) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud environments
  • Ensure system performance, reliability, and security across all platforms
  • Oversee network architecture, cybersecurity measures, and endpoint protection
  • Manage cloud and hybrid environments (e.g., Microsoft 365, Epic, VMware)
  • Lead infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and implementations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support business needs and technology initiatives
  • Manage vendors, IT assets, and licensing to ensure cost-effective operations
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and maintain system documentation
  • Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvements
  • Lead, mentor, and support the IT infrastructure team
