About The Position

Zipline is seeking Maintenance Infrastructure Technicians who have sound judgment, excellent interpersonal skills and high standards. Success will require attention to detail, a safety-oriented attitude, flexibility, and enthusiasm for cutting-edge technology. You will be responsible for the inventory management, assembly, installation, repair and maintenance of critical aircraft operations-enabling infrastructure ensuring it conforms to high standards, is in safe operating condition and that all procedures are followed appropriately. This candidate is expected to work closely with logistics, engineering, flight operations, and other teams to deliver on their assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision. You will be supporting customer-facing infrastructure, which requires an efficient and pointed work ethic in order to set our customers up for success.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge: mechanical, electrical and software
  • Mechanical and electrical integration and assembly experience
  • Experience performing precision work with hand tools
  • Ability to manage shipping and receiving functions at the facility
  • Organizational skills to manage dock and warehouse throughput, material handling equipment, and shipping supplies
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications to update and maintain inventory records and databases
  • Must be able to support shift work including, but not limited to days/evenings, weekends, etc.
  • Must be able to travel 5 %- 10%, as necessary
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to lift and or move up to 55 pounds
  • Must have a valid US Driver's License

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with material handling equipment (warehouse forklift (Certification for Class 1, 4, 5 preferred), pallet jack)
  • Expert inventory management
  • Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with customers, resolving inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive experience
  • Ability to diagnose hardware problems, develop, and implement novel fixes to time-sensitive problems with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to identify process and product improvements to increase reliability, decrease assembly time, or optimize packaging and storage
