As an Infrastructure Engineering Senior Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of Cigna’s enterprise network and security environment. You will provide operational leadership, vendor oversight, and hands-on technical expertise to drive rapid resolution of high-impact security issues. Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting Web Proxy and perimeter security technologies in a large enterprise environment.
Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies: McAfee Web Gateway, Zscaler, and Symantec Bluecoat.
Demonstrated experience with IDS/IPS technologies and security protocol implementations.
Strong working knowledge of network troubleshooting and monitoring tools such as SyslogNG, SevOne, Splunk, tcpdump, and QRadar.
Proven experience leading incident response, crisis management, and root cause analysis efforts.
Ability to prioritize and execute effectively in high-pressure, 24x7 operational environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts in a clear, user-friendly manner.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise networks within regulated industries, such as healthcare.
Experience providing operational leadership and vendor oversight for managed security services.

Responsibilities

Lead tier II operational support for enterprise network security systems, with a primary focus on Web Proxy and perimeter security technologies.
Drive complex security problem determination and resolution through structured troubleshooting and effective coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
Provide operational leadership during high-severity security incidents, including crisis management and root cause analysis, to restore services and prevent recurrence.
Oversee and manage vendor performance to ensure consistent service delivery, responsiveness, and adherence to SLAs and security improvement initiatives.
Support and optimize security platforms including McAfee Web Gateway, Symantec Bluecoat, and Zscaler environments.
Implement and maintain security policies, providing consultation and operational support for projects requiring network security expertise.
Plan, review, and oversee security-related change activities in partnership with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Monitor enterprise security posture, identify risks and exposures, and recommend corrective actions to strengthen controls and reduce future incidents.
Ensure operational security procedures are consistently followed to protect information systems, programs, and data.
Participate in a rotating 24x7 on-call schedule and respond to high-impact incidents as required.
