About The Position

This entry‑level position supports day‑to‑day data center buildout work, including installing hardware, structured cabling, and preparing materials for delivery to operations teams. It’s a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced environment and a strong starting point for anyone looking to grow in data center or IT infrastructure work.

Requirements

• Interest in data centers, cabling, or hands‑on technical work
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work long, physical shifts
• Basic understanding of computers or networking is helpful
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
• Willingness to learn and follow detailed processes
• Must pass a BGC and drug test

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and troubleshoot copper and fiber cabling
• Assist with structured cabling prep, labeling, scanning, and sorting
• Move and position racks, servers, and network equipment
• Track work through ticketing systems and maintain documentation
• Ensure all installs meet quality and safety standards
• Coordinate daily materials and maintain clean work areas
