About The Position

MM Fleet is looking for a data-driven and naturally curious Infrastructure Data Specialist to join the fast-moving Fleet Infrastructure team. This person will support the In-Yard Infrastructure Team and work to enable learnings through data capture from our deployed infrastructure assets in Middle Mile. The ideal candidate is a person with a background in data gathering and reporting with an ability to work across projects and teams, working to inform key decisions about EV charging, Wash Bay, and Snow Removal equipment operations. Experience with Amazon operations is valuable for this role. The position is located in Bellevue, WA. Travel up to 15% required. The MM In-Yard Infrastructure Team develops the strategy and planning for building in-yard infrastructure (EV charging, Wash Bays, Snow Removal, H2 fueling) as well as offsite infrastructure that supports Middle Mile's growing network of trucks.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications experience
  • 1+ years of data analysis and formula creation in Microsoft Excel experience
  • High school or equivalent
  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
  • Experience using data to drive root cause elimination and process improvement
  • 1+ years of creating databases for data entry

Responsibilities

  • Ongoing capture, recording, and basic analysis of infrastructure & utility data, informing EV charging cost savings for Fleet
  • Develop a database for capturing infrastructure data, to report to leadership
  • Review safety data at existing EV charging sites, identifying areas of improvement
  • Track weekly growth of EV charging network, capturing data in Asana for visibility to Fleet leadership
  • Track and record data into dashboards and AAP for ongoing programs such as EV charging software, wash bays, and EV truck testing
  • Tracking completion of grant programs to capture savings, working with internal stakeholders and 3P grant companies to meet requirements
  • Gather EV charger OEM maintenance data, report into dashboards for performance tracking
  • Develop close relationships with operations teams on-site to ensure that daily EV charging operations are met, working quickly to resolve site issues with EV chargers that maintenance systems do not resolve
  • Handle multiple task, projects, and daily activities, meet deadlines, and develop plans on how to accomplish departmental and distribution goals
