Job Description: Business Overview The Regional Loan Syndications group originates and executes club syndicated bank loans for Commercial Banking clients and prospects. The team partners closely with the Commercial Bank, Wholesale Credit, Regional Leverage Finance and Emerging Growth and Regional Coverage to drive new Bank of America led syndicated loans and corresponding ancillary business. Primarily responsible for preparation of marketing materials and execution of syndicated loans, with an opportunity to attend and participate in client pitches and lender meetings, gain exposure to complex transactions, and build on existing credit, structuring, communication and presentation skills.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years commercial/corporate credit experience
  • Strong credit, analytical, structuring and communication skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Proficient with Power Point and Excel
  • Familiar with Syndicated Credit Agreements
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong time management skills with ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Highly energized team player with a positive attitude
  • Embraces the importance of maintaining BofAML’s core values and brand in everything we do
  • Has a strong desire to grow and develop
  • Maintains a polished and professional appearance
  • Series 79 and 63 registration (within 180 days)
  • Undergraduate degree required: Majors in business, finance or economics preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prepare marketing materials (pitches, lender presentations)
  • Prepare comparable transaction analysis
  • Financial modeling
  • Review legal documents for syndication specific terms (engagement/commitment papers, credit agreements)
  • Set up and manage Syndtrak sites for new deals / coordinate with Agency Management for existing deals
  • Coordinate bank meeting logistics and attend meetings
  • Directly communicate with borrower, lenders, counsel, and agency management
  • Manage closing logistics (prepare allocations memo, funds flow, closing invoice, accounting and regulatory reporting, pipeline management)
  • Partner with Senior Product Specialist to ensure seamless execution of syndicated loans
  • Establish and maintain strong partnership with Leveraged Finance
