About The Position

Information Warfare Planner The Opportunity: As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don’t. You understand the nuances of complex sit uations. As an Information Warfare ( IW ) planner, you’ll bring your operational and tactical level planning, IW- related force generation support, and threat analysis and assessments expertise to work on projects for our Department of Defense ( DoD ) client with a primary focus on the Indo-Pacific region. You’ll provide planning support, analysis, and assessment of our DoD clients’ training, exercises, and operations- related IW requirements. You’ll be a t rus ted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies , processes, and mission readiness related to existing and emerging national security threats. You’ll guide the work we do for defense- related readiness and the solutions we deliver for planning, analysis, and force management support of IW- related requirements. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Information Warfare ( IW ) planning and integrating information capab ilities in training, exercise, and operations for achieving organizational objectives
  • Experience with working IW planning in support of Air, Ground, and Task Force operations
  • Experience with using the Marine Corps Planning Process or Service planning process
  • Experience with working in Operational Planning Teams and procedural Boards, Bureaus, Center s, Cells, and Working Groups
  • Knowledge of systems on processes for Information capab ilities, including Military Deception, Electronic Warfare, Communications Strategy, and Spe cia l Technical Operations
  • Ability to assist in Unit Training Management, including long-range planning, training, and exercise employment program development, and the integration of organic, Service, Component, and Combatant Command training to meet organizational training and operational readiness objectives
  • Ability to analyze existing and emerging operational and contingency plans, mission critical tasks, and Joint Exercise Life Cycle planning to enhance training and readiness in the future and current operations
  • TS / SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with information warfare planning at a General and Flag Officer level command
  • Experience with working in Information Warfare ( IW ) in multiple domains, including Air, Surface, Maritime, Cyber, Information, and Space
  • Experience with Joint Planning Process and the Joint Exercise Lifecycle in the Indo-Pacific area of operations
  • Experience with working IW planning in support of Air, Ground, and Task Force Operations
  • Graduate of Command and Staff College
