Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of proficiencies with Microsoft Office 365
  • Knowledge of software and hardware components, and demonstrated capability with installation
  • Knowledge of system software installation processes and troubleshooting
  • Experience troubleshooting networking and Wi-Fi Connectivity
  • Knowledgeable and current with a wide range of software and hardware components, Windows 10 or 11, Laptop computers and peripherals.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task while remaining organized under deadlines
  • Intent to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk may be required
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds if needed

Responsibilities

  • The Information Technology Tech Support is responsible for guiding teammates through all system administration, installing and troubleshooting all computer systems and programs, as well as reviewing and identifying new systems and programs to ensure effective and efficient systems for ModWash and Hutton Development.
  • Assist Director of Information Technology with internal processes and procedures, as well as special projects for the department
  • Knowledge of system installations and configurations of hardware and software components
  • Repair or replace damaged hardware
  • Ability to upgrade systems to enable compatible software
  • Install and upgrade patches as needed
  • Review, test, and evaluate new technology for company advancement
  • Provide feedback on company selected software, hardware issues
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues, as well as provide efficient resolution
  • Experience troubleshooting network and Wi-Fi Connectivity
  • Set up new employee system accounts and issue property
  • Retrieve property from separated employees and properly clear data, and store for future use
  • Assist employees with internal workstation movements, ensuring operational setup and connectivity
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
