About The Position

Mayvin is currently seeking an energetic, and motivated applicants to join our team as an Information Technology Support Analyst to support our Corporate and Contract IT infrastructure consisting of multiple locations within the Northern Virginia area. This is an important role within the company and has high visibility across the executive team and organization. The individual selected must be self-directed, results-oriented, and customer-focused; one who displays ethics, integrity, and leadership qualities. Through exposure to leadership, project management and business planning activities, the successful candidate will develop a foundation for basic requirements necessary to be successful in a small business environment. This position is located at our corporate headquarters. Must be a US citizen. Must have an active Secret or higher clearance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred), or an Associate’s degree with demonstrated working knowledge of IT functions for 2+ years with certifications.
  • Intimate working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; Microsoft Office Suite administration (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Experience with Azure AD, Microsoft licensing schemes, and Intune deployment
  • Working knowledge of network engineering tasks, DNS, DHCP, subnetting, and general architecture
  • Demonstrated drive to learn IT fundamentals and develop expertise in cybersecurity, networking, and administration in support of government related projects
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly
  • Strong communication, organizational, creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members, clients, and company management
  • Demonstrated drive to learn IT fundamentals and develop expertise in cybersecurity, networking, and administration in support of government related projects.
  • Flexibility to work on different sites in the Northern Virginia area
  • One of the following certifications: Security+, Network+, or A+
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and change
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an entry-level IT position or similar
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience performing Windows-based IT troubleshooting or similar

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Windows server environments and Active Directory
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and troubleshoot IT hardware and software including computers, switches, routers, printers, and their related COTS
  • Working knowledge of network engineering tasks, DNS, DHCP, subnetting, and general architecture
  • Familiarity with CMMC, NIST 800-171, and government security postures
  • Experience with the U.S. Military or U.S. Government Agencies is
  • Solid grasp of Cybersecurity practices and security implementation
  • DoD 8570 Baseline IAT Level I + certification(s)

Responsibilities

  • Provide systems support tasks for hardware devices and software packages, help with installation setups, and revise existing documentation guidelines
  • Provide timely technical support for users and work with them to solve existing problems
  • Provide training for teams in multi-faceted departments, answer technology questions as needed, complete administrative tasks when required, and fill out documentation when requesting new inventory
  • Commute short distances between office locations to provide support
  • Provide support to remote users and escalate issues to supervisors as needed
