Rate: $18.61 - $21.71 per hour. Curious about how business needs turn into real-world digital solutions? Join Oakland County as an Information Technology Business Analyst Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting the Applications and Client Services team. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and the website development team, contributing to projects that modernize and migrate existing websites to new hosting and content management platforms.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's level Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related program at an accredited college or university.
  • Possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s or chauffeur’s license.
  • Must maintain a valid motor vehicle operator’s or chauffeur’s license.
  • Must maintain enrollment and be registered to continue active course work in an accredited program for a major specified under Minimum Qualifications.

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., user stories, sprints, stand-ups)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business teams and developers to support website migration projects
  • With collaboration of user input, create product content and documentation.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into actionable deliverables
  • Assist with developing or modifying web content using HTML, CSS, or JavaScript (based on experience)
  • Gather and document business requirements, user needs, and functional specifications
  • Support testing efforts during the development lifecycle to ensure solutions meet business needs
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Participate in agile processes such as user story development, sprint planning, and team discussions
