About The Position

Intermediate District 287 is looking for an Information Technology (IT) Specialist position at our District Service Center in Plymouth, MN! Intermediate District 287 serves students in grades K-12, as well as transition age students (18- 22 years old), from our 12 member districts in the west metro area. Our district offers a wide range of services and specialized programs, primarily focused on setting IV special education, that is designed to meet the diverse needs of our students. Requirements

  • Interested in candidates who are: diverse, bilingual, or have experience working with diverse populations.
  • Three (3) years experience in information technology (IT) operations support or another IT related support area.
  • Substitution Allowed:Education in a job relevant field may be substituted for general experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer one IT related certification.

  • Perform a full range of end-user technical support for a variety of hardware, software, audio/visual, and/or network issues
  • Provide help desk and/or problem solving services for users by responding to requests for technical support
