About The Position

The Information Technology (IT) Solutions Analyst position serves as the liaison between the business and technical staff. This position will work closely with various departments to understand their IT needs and assist the IT Agile team in the design, development, testing, delivery and support of solutions to streamline operations, improve security, mitigate risk, maintain compliance, and support the organization's strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Technical degree required in such disciplines as Computer Engineering, CPA, etc., plus 4 years related experience and/or training, and 2 years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and understand general business/company related articles and professional journals; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedure manuals; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and understand common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents; ability to respond to complex or difficult inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Intermediate: Other, Spreadsheet, Word Processing/Typing
  • Basic: Accounting, Alphanumeric Data Entry, Database, Presentation/PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Agile methodology, CI/CD and SCRUM
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize work
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining good relations with coworkers

Responsibilities

  • Assume the Product Owner role on the IT Agile team.
  • Collaborate with business units to gather and analyze their IT requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Agile IT Team to develop detailed IT solution designs that address business needs and align with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Assist in the implementation of IT solutions, ensuring they are integrated smoothly with existing systems.
  • Collaborate with the Agile team to ensure thorough testing of IT solutions and the creation of regression test cases and ensure all acceptance criteria has been met. Work with the stakeholders to ensure thorough testing in the UAT environment and facilitate migration to production and ensure that a backup/recovery plan is in place.
  • Ensure that comprehensive documentation for IT solutions is being created and maintained, including design specifications, user guides, and training materials.
  • Ensure that the solution's risk is identified and mitigated, comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that the appropriate security measures are in place to protect sensitive data and ensure the solutions integrity.
  • Provide support to end-users during and after the implementation of IT solutions, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Stay informed about the latest IT trends and technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
  • The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Complete required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
