About The Position

Incumbent manages and directs the overall information systems activities and services in support of a multiple-site district network; designs and manages the maintenance of the local area networks; develops and monitors information systems goals and objectives; establishes, implements, and monitors information systems policies, procedures and standards; assists in the development of the information systems budget and information technology plan; monitors information systems budget and expenditures; manages information systems contracts; and performs other related job duties

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or Management with a technology emphasis, Computer Science, or IT related engineering or other directly related field.
  • Six (6) years’ directly related work experience and/or education in IT and IT management including two (2) years’ directly related work experience in information systems, database administration, and/or systems design and analysis.
  • extensive knowledge of information systems technology, operating systems, systems applications and development
  • knowledge of design, implementation, and maintenance of network systems

  • Eight (8) years directly related work experience and/or education in IT and IT management including four (4) years directly related work experience in information systems, database administration, and/or systems design and analysis.
