About The Position

Lead the future of IT operations and cybersecurity at Martin‑Baker America Martin-Baker America is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of Information Technology operations at our Johnstown, PA facility. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and security of our IT environment while aligning technology initiatives with organizational goals. The IT Manager will report directly to the Vice President and General Manager and will play a critical role in shaping the future of our technology strategy. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and hands-on management of Systems Administration, Help Desk, Systems Analysis, and IT Security functions. This position requires a leader who can balance vision with execution, ensuring that the IT department operates seamlessly while meeting the evolving needs of a complex manufacturing environment. The IT Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for all contractual IT compliance requirements, including those related to Department of Defense standards such as NIST 800.171, DFARS, and CMMC. Cybersecurity is a central focus of this role. The IT Manager will oversee incident response activities, ensuring rapid containment and mandated reporting in the event of a cyber incident. Maintaining strong relationships with U.S. Government agencies and prime contractors is essential, as this role is responsible for meeting all cyber-related reporting requirements. This position demands a proactive leader who can anticipate risks, adapt to changing regulations, and safeguard the organization's resilience. Other responsibilities will include managing and developing a diverse IT team, managing ongoing IT projects, budgeting and allocating resources effectively, establishing and enforcing IT policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage complex projects in a high-performance environment

Requirements

  • Minimum of six years of experience leading diverse IT teams, preferably within a manufacturing or aerospace environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Information Security, or a related field is required, along with relevant certifications
